Does anyone know where to get 'tanning tablets' from?

I used to see them advertised quite a lot but I think they may have been withdrawn for whatever reason. It's a course of tablets you could take before your holiday and they claimed to work from the inside. I've tried all the fake tans etc. and I just cannot get a natural tan from any of them and wondered if these worked any better.

Does anyone know where to get 'tanning tablets' from?
You don't need to go all out and buy tanning tablets.

Go to your nearest health store and buy BETA CAROTENE tablets.

Take these for the few weeks preceeding your holiday and while on holiday.

They help to bring the skins natural brown pigment (melanin) to the surface of the skin therefore you will tan quicker.
Reply:Beta Carotene is the natural pigment that makes carrots ORANGE.

Reply:Hi there my sister usd to get them form a small towen tanning salon why dont you asl there even if they dont sell them they might be able to point you in the right direction?

Or try goolging it or even on ebay.. i know ebay sells a lot of slimming tablets n stuff. its worth a look

Be carfull with them and read the leaftlets or reserch the tablet before you take them or buy them.

You can also get sprayed by the tannian sallon if your wanting a long lasting quick tann. Or the mosturerising self tanning ones are really good they keep your skin soft so it look more natural.
Reply:The "tanning tablets" do turn you orange all over - not a great look. Are you maybe thinking of something like Phytoplage Phytosolaire? PhytoSolaire prepares skin for sun exposure in order to facilitate tanning. The dietary supplements produce a deeper, longer lasting tan while preserving the skin's youthful appearance. The vitamins, micronutrients and essential fatty acids are necessary for the skin's radiance. (Do not combine with other products containing selenium.) These are more of an aid to tanning - you take them before and during your holiday.

Reply:I dont know where to get them, but i suggest you dont get try to hold of them because it could do some dammage to your skin or your insides. Keep on using fake tans, or tan naturally.
Reply:They are available on Ebay! I saw them while I was searching for tanning lotion. I think they were like $7.00 to ship and $0.01 to bid. Hope this helps!

Reply:The ones that turn you orange are NOT the ones that help you tan in the sun.

I have for years travelled to many places and always use Immedeen Tan Optimisers, they prepare your skin from the inside and you can achieve in 1 week in the sun what it normally takes two with normal sun tan lotion.

You can use lower protection cream and not burn at all (as long as you follow instuctions)

I always go the darkest possible after 4-5 days, quite expensive but well worth it.

I have put the link for Boots below as they are genuine and have long dates on them so will last a few holidays

also 3 for 2 on at the moment!
Reply:I have pale skin and although i can tan ok throughout the year i use no7 quick dry body spray, its around £11 and i have used it for 10 years and NEVER had streaks.

Trust me if you can not get pills try this...
Reply:with so many great fake tans out there, u shouldn't go for them. I'm sure they're not safe %26amp; they're defifnitely not worth it as also I'm sure they won't give a natural colour.

(please c link on yahoo question for some ideas for good fake tans)
Reply:I got some from avon, out of the health and beauty supplement, not sure if they still do them but they were cheap aswell!!!
Reply:Ebay, and no they aren't all that good xx
