SHOULD I TAN IN A TANNING BED WHILE TAKING ST JOHNS WORT?

As much as those of us who are "Melanin Challenged" love the look of being a little toasted, it is never good to use a tanning bed -- with or without the dear Saint. Pose your question to any dermatologist and you will get a huge hands down from them too.

Now, the great little tanners have come a long way since the orange-bottle-tan days. So if you are in a hurry – to that way or the way of the Mystic Tan (all over spray at a tanning salon).

The best tan, of course is the natural one that you get from the sun. Come here to Costa Rica! The sun is great – the cost of living is cheap (we live on less than $800 a month) – and the people are wonderful. We have been here for six months (I am a native of Seattle) and my husband and I both have very nice “walking around tans.” The sun is also a great source for Vitamin D.

Happy New Year! Feliz año nuevo

You should never tan in a tanning bed.
Reply:NO! Try mystic tan or something.
Reply:No, you should not as St. John's Wort makes you more sensitive to UV light. It will cause problems for you.
