White spot while tanning?

seriously,,,i've always wondered this. how come i get a white spot above my **** when i tan? i turn and try to get it even, but it always seems to show up? how come only one? and why in that spot?

White spot while tanning?
The cause for white spots when tanning is common. Three areas of the body are affected by how a person lays in the tanning bed: shoulder blades, tail bone area, and the backs of the calves. What happens is that pressure is created on those areas of the body which restricts blood flow. A person needs UVA and UVB in order to tan; however, they also need oxygen (those who sleep in tanning beds often get these white spots). There is a simple way to minimize and even eliminate this condition-- take your right forearm (not your elbow and not the heel of your hand) and the bottom of your right foot and push up gently for a few seconds. This will relieve pressure on the right hand side of your body, allowing your skin to breathe for a few moments. After you have done this, you should lower your right side and raise the left side up the same way.
Reply:Happens to me all the time, on my stomach though.

You could try puting some tanning oil on it while tanning, or you could get a spray on/lotion tan and put it on that area.

Hope I helped!
Reply:i used to work in a tanning salon %26amp; my managers answered this question for me. when you get that white spot its because youre cutting off the blood circulation in that area while laying down, and you cant tan an area unless your blood is circulating there. i freaking hate those white spots though! i get one over my backbone all the time. you just need to roll over and move around a lot in there. or try a standup bed, theyre awesome for that.
