Will i still tan with this stuff on me? If so how much? And will this help my dry peeling skin problem?

i work at a tannign salon. and from experience i can tell you that its not so much the lotion you use just dont use something with a high concentration of alcohol. Your after tan lotion should be VERY moiturizing i recommend using somthing with hemp-oil in it (provided you dont have a hemp allergy) or try aloe-vera

hope this helps
Reply:Yes moisturized skin tans better. Just put on a regular amount like you were putting it on after a shower.
Reply:Your skin is peeling because it is damaged from the UV rays. If I were you, I'd stay out of the tanning bed but if you must, tan with regular tanning lotion and afterwards, rub on the cocoa butter. Be sure to apply the cocoa butter after you shower, as well.
Reply:your going to peel if you dont use anything. you probably wont tan much with that stuff. if you want to get tan go to the store and get something with an SPF of 4. when you get out of the sun its very important to use the palmers cocoa butter, because the sun dries out your skin..and you want to use lotion after because you want to keep the skin moist and tan.
Reply:The peeling skin is just dead skin that won't let go because of your tan. I suggest using an exfoliant to help remove the old skin. Cocoa butter is a good moisturizer and will help in the future, but you gotta get the old skin off first.
Reply:You'll get darker a lot faster. Trust me, I've done it. When you only have 15-30 minutes to tan, cocoa butter creme will get the job done. Lander's cocoa butter creme is more pocket friendly. It only costs $1.00 and actually works better as a moisturizer to help stop the peeling. Also, try applying pure aloe vera gel after you tan, that will help heal your skin from the sun baking, I mean sun bathing process.
Reply:That should be a sign to you to stop the tanning. It's horible for you. I know so many people who look so old because they tan. Natural skin is beautiful.
